Bridgend firms run on tech too.
Someone should look after it.
Family firms, trades and independents around Bridgend mostly run their own IT off the side of a desk. From £35 per person a month, you can hand that to me instead.
Between Swansea and Cardiff, Bridgend businesses fall through the gap. Too far down the seat count for the city providers, too busy trading to babysit computers. So the quotes stay unanswered in someone's inbox, the backups stay unchecked, and everybody hopes for the best for another year.
I take that whole worry off the desk. Machines patched, Microsoft 365 set up properly and owned by you, backups actually tested rather than merely switched on, email locked against spoofing, and a person who answers the phone when something misbehaves. Fixed prices, rolling monthly, no contract.
The word "tested" is doing real work in that paragraph. Most small firms I meet have a backup of some kind, and a good number of those backups would not restore if anyone tried. A backup nobody has tested is a belief, not a safeguard, and the moment you discover which one you had is the worst possible moment. Checking it is part of the monthly fee rather than an extra.
Seasonality is a genuine factor round here, particularly towards Porthcawl. Trade swings hard through the year, which makes a rolling monthly arrangement more sensible than an annual contract that bills you identically through your quietest months. Scale the seat count up when the staff are in and back down when they are not, and pay for what you are actually using.
Doing your own IT off the side of a desk works until the day it very much does not. The point of handing it over is not that you cannot manage, it is that your time is worth more spent on the thing you actually sell.

What Bridgend clients ask me.
Our staff numbers change with the season. Does the price flex?
Yes, and that is largely why it is priced per person and billed monthly. Add seats when the summer staff arrive, drop them when they leave, and pay for what you are actually using. An annual contract charging a flat rate through your quiet months is exactly the arrangement I built this to avoid.
We have a backup already. Is that enough?
Only if someone has tested it, and in most small firms nobody has. I regularly find backups that have been silently failing for months, or that cover the server but not the Microsoft 365 data everyone actually works in. Checking that a restore genuinely works is part of the monthly fee, because an untested backup is a belief rather than a safeguard.
How often would we actually see you?
Realistically, not often, and that is a good sign rather than neglect. The work that keeps things running is patching, monitoring and backup checks, and all of it happens remotely in the background. On-site visits are for setups, moves, hardware and the occasional problem that genuinely needs hands. Bridgend is twenty-five minutes away when one of those comes up.
